The Rev. Deacon David Rhodes

I have served as Deacon at St. Paul’s since 2020 engaged in identifying opportunities to serve the Greater Woodbury community through food ministries, Deacons’ Diaper Drive and as Chaplin at Waterbury Hospital and to first responders. Prior to serving in Woodbury, I served at St. John’s Church on the Green, Waterbury and St. John’s Episcopal Church, Indio, CA.

As a “cradle to grave” Episcopalian I have served the Church in many ways including Boys Choir, Acolyte, Lay Reader and vestry. Prior to retirement in 2010, I served in various functions and firms in the Insurance Industry. I am a graduate from Rider University, NJ and Diocese of San Diego, School for Ministry. I also served in the US Air Force (’64-’67) including a tour in Vietnam and Guam.

I live in Beacon Falls, CT with my wife Rosemarie and are the grateful parents/grandparents of four children and seven grandchildren. My hobbies include fly fishing and reading.
